Issue Jira tickets are not searchable from the Jira Issues component in Salesforce, preventing users from associating them. Even though: The  Issue Type  is mapped in the  Bindings . The ticket exists and is assigned to the correct  Issue Type .     Solution This issue occurs because the field mapping for  Issue Type  has not been configured. Follow these steps to resolve it: In Jira, click  Salesforce  through the top navigation bar and select  Bindings . Click  Mapping  for the affected project.  Click  Mappings  for the affected Issue Type. Add the field mapping like below:   Click  Save . Check in Salesforce to confirm that the Jira tickets are now searchable.
