The following interactive demonstration describes how to add time to a monday.com item.

 

## Steps - Add time

The following steps describe the process for adding time:

1. From a monday board, click **Open Item page**.


2. In the right-hand pane, click **7pace Timetracker**.
  
3. The *Add Time* pane displays. Here:
  1. Specify a date.
  2. Enter a **Duration** or use one of the timepicker buttons as a shortcut for selecting a timeframe.
  3. Enter a descriptive comment (Database configuration) or use one of the comment suggestions. :info: Comment suggestions are based on common entries for this field.
  4. Optionally, complete the [custom fields](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/7TFM/pages/2153087261), if they exist.
  5. Click **Save**.
