## Enhancements

### New permission - Manage and lock time periods

The [Lock time periods](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/7TFM/pages/2152596238) feature was recently released in beta. It allows admins to lock time periods for editing, ensuring that time-tracking data remains accurate and reliable. This feature is handy when admins generate reports at the end of a reporting period and want to prevent any adjustments from being made.

A new role permission has been added to 7pace Timetracker, **Manage and lock time periods**. To assign this permission, click **Settings** > **Roles & Permissions**:
