> ℹ️ It is highly recommended that you add the **Approval Periods **app to any workspace that utilizes approvals; the app will not be automatically added after turning on approvals!

After Approval periods have been turned on, a new app will be available for your monday workspaces - **Approval Periods**. The Approval Periods app provides the interface for Managers to review and approve or deny worklogs, as well as the option to lock time periods to prevent any updates to included worklogs.

To add the **Approval Periods** app to a workspace: 

1. In the left-hand panel of your workspace, click **Add item to workspace** to the right of the workspace selector (Figure 4, right).
2. Go to **Installed apps** > **7pace - Approval Periods**.
