## Updated permissions for Approval Periods

Following user feedback and testing, further updates have been made to how permissions work for [Approval Periods](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/7TFM/pages/2602074199). These changes include a new 7pace Timetracker role - the **Global Approval Manager.** This new role includes Administrator-level permissions to update Approval Period settings and the ability to lock periods, as well as the ability to access the Approval periods app and approve time. However, it does not have access to any other Administrator functionality.
