## Overview

A space administrator can use the space tools **Space Publishing dashboard** to configure the options for publishing and syncing pages and blog posts in a space.

> 📝 These publishing settings are applied to both single page publishing and whole space publishing.

In the **source space **from the space tools menu

- choose the **Space Publishing** option

If no space has been linked, a message asks you to[ set up space publishing](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649563006) by linking a source and target space and performing an initial synchronization of the content.

Set Up Space Publishing opens a wizard to help you, as a space administrator, set the current space as a source space for publishing using the publishing dashboard.

The **Space Publishing dashboard** is used to

- link a space as a **[target space](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/650119665)**
- enable/disable **[single page publishing](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/650153552)**
- **[Publish](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649692474)** the whole space content
- **[Configure](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649726972)** the content and content properties to be published
- use **[View Changes](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649694201)** option to list the documents with changes pending synchronization in each space

## Source draft space dashboard

If the current space has been linked to a published target space the space publishing dashboard will display details of the linked target space and the last time of whole space synchronization.

- the current space name (the **source space**)
- the space currently configured as the **published space **(the **target space**)
- the space publishing status showing date and time of the most recent whole space synchronization

If the current space is the source space, the space may also have a draft watermark ((if configured) added to its name in the sidebar.

## Target published space dashboard

If the **current space is an existing published space**, a message in the space publishing dashboard displays a link to the draft source space to configure the publishing options.

> 📝 Comala Publishing is not designed to publish a child page from the draft **source space** to be a child of a page that only exists in the published **target** space. If the parent page does not exist in the published  **target** space the page is published to the root of the **targe**t space.

## Space publishing space configuration options

The following configuration options are displayed in the **Space Publishing dashboard** in the **source space** that has been linked to a **target space** for space publishing.

> Macro (children)

The **space Publishing dashboard** in the linked **target space** displays a link to the space publishing dashboard in the **source space**.

> ℹ️ You can also choose to simply copy the space content to another space using the** ****[Copy Space](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649593767)** dashboard select a target space and configure the options for copying the content
