## Space sync conditions

You can set the following conditions for publishing pages and blog posts in a space when publishing from the [space tools Publishing dashboard](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649660098).

To configure the publishing **space sync conditions** open the space tools Publishing dashboard

- choose **Configure**
- under **Settings** choose** Space Sync Conditions**

Publishing options set in **Space Sync Conditions** options only apply to content published by a space administrator via the [space ](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649692474)**[Publish](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649692474)**** **option.

### Space Sync Conditions

The space publishing of content can be set to include either or both **Pages** and **Blog Posts**. 

> ℹ️ The content data that is published for a blog post or page is configured in **[Content options](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/650119607)** in the space tools Publishing dashboard.

| #### **Pages** |  | Check** Pages **to include all pages when the space is published using the space tools Publishing dashboard.<br>> ℹ️ By default, the space home page is not published.<br>If you want to publish the source space home page you must check the** Top-level pages **option.<br>> 📝 To replace the target space home **Delete target space content** must also be checked |
| #### **Top-level pages** | Check this option to publish the source space home page and any orphan pages in the source space.<br>> ℹ️ Only available when **Pages** is checked |
| #### **Always Publish** |  | Check **Always Publish** to publish all the source content, not just the content that has been updated. |
| #### **Delete target space content (pages and blog posts)** |  | Check **Delete target space content (pages and blog posts) **to delete all content found in the published target space that is not in the source space.<br>This is a useful option when you first publish a space, for example, this can be used (with **Top Level pages** checked) to publish the source space home page ***and***** **for this page to become the published target space home page. The original home page in the published space is deleted.<br>> ℹ️ You can also set the **[Page Content Options - Settings](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/650119607)** to remove all page history from the published content |
| #### **Use final state version** |  | Comala Publishing is compatible with the [Comala Document Management Family of Apps Map](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/650216302).  The space publishing action can be set to [publish the corresponding latest final (published) state version](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/649826124) in the Comala workflow applied to the source content.<br>Check **Use final state version** to publish the content version corresponding to the Comala Document Management latest approved version created on the most recent transition to the final state in the applied workflow<br>- the final state version will be published even if the content is currently in a draft workflow state<br>> ℹ️ The content is not published if the workflow has no final state version.<br>> 📝 Any content currently in a draft workflow state but with a previous final state version is not published when both the following options are checked

| Comala Publishing integration with Comala Document Management also allows publish and sync of a page of blog post on a workflow event [using a workflow trigger with a publish-page action macro](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AHP/pages/650348491). |

## Sync-label

These options allow the content to be published based on the value of a label. This is the **sync-label**.

The value of the **sync-label** is set by the global administrator for the instance.

> ℹ️ The default **sync-label** global value on app install is **SYNCLABEL**.

The deafult setting when **Use sync-label** is checked publishes only pages and blog posts with the sync-label. |

- **Publish content without the sync label** | When **Use sync-label** is checked you can either<br>- **Publish content with the sync-label **(default)
- **Publish content without the sync label** |
| **Include child pages** | Additional option when using the **sync-label**.<br>Check **Include child pages** to publish the child pages of a page with the **sync-label**. |
| **Ignore sync-label for Blog Posts** | **Additional option when using the sync-label.**<br>Check **Ignore sync-label for Blog Posts** to publish all blog posts on a space publish action regardless of how the sync-label is configured.<br>> 📝 Publishing of **Blog Posts** must also be checked in the **Space Sync Conditions **options. |
| #### **Delete sync-label after publishing** |  | Removes the current **sync-label** from all the content in the **source space** after publishing.<br>> ℹ️ When the **Delete sync-label after publishing** option is checked, the **sync-label** is removed from the source space content whether or not you have chosen to use the **sync-label** as a content publishing filter. |
