To open the OData page and create a Connector URL, navigate to **Jira **>** Tableau Connector Pro** >** My Connectors**. The OData is the default landing page of the app.

The Tableau Connector Pro for the Jira app supports OData V4. The Open Data Protocol (OData) is a data access protocol built on core protocols like HTTP and commonly accepted methodologies like REST for the web. For more information, refer to [OData](https://www.odata.org/getting-started/basic-tutorial/).

> 📝 - It is recommended that you use the OData datatype connector, as Tableau has marked** ****[WDC 2.0 as deprecated](https://kb.tableau.com/articles/Issue/web-data-connectors-deprecated-in-2023-1-release)****. **For more information, refer to [My Connectors](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/1047232612).
> 📝 - For the app version 4.3.0 with OData connector support, the **Tableau Desktop** minimum supported version is 2023.3.

> 📝 **Data Center:** After the application link is set and OAuth access is approved, you are navigated to the OData tab to create your first Connector URL. Refer to the [Configure the Application Link (Jira Hosted only)](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/1037303956).

## Create an OData Connector URL

The OData page displays a form for creating a Connector URL.

Watch the video to quickly create an OData Connector URL, or follow the steps.

Follow the steps to create a connector URL on either the Data Center or cloud hosting. You can create **Multiple** connectors using these steps.

- Provide the Connector **name** and **description** (optional).
- Specify a **JQL** **Query** to **filter** the issues to be fetched by the connector.
- Check the option **Aggregate fields into the Issues table** to import the chosen fields into the** Issues** table as separate columns.
 - Enabling this option automatically combines all feasible tables into a single **Issues** table.
 - Tables with **one-to-many relationships** that cannot be aggregated are excluded and generated as separate tables.
 - For more information, refer to [Aggregate fields into the Issues table](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/2632745699).
- Select the **fields** to be pulled by the connector.
- Click **Save and Close**.

> 📝 Ensure to enter a valid JQL Query. The input validation check is performed when the user clicks **Validate JQL** or **Save and Close**. If the JQL field contains malicious content, an error message is displayed, and the user is not allowed to proceed further.
