> ๐ - It is recommended that you use the OData datatype connector, as Tableau has marked **[WDC 2.0 as deprecated](https://kb.tableau.com/articles/Issue/web-data-connectors-deprecated-in-2023-1-release)****.**
> ๐ - **Web Data Connectors (WDCs) 2.0 published to the Tableau Server 2023.1 and above are failing for scheduled refresh**
> ๐ - Tableau has marked WDC 2.0 as deprecated. However, it stated that it willย [support WDC 2.x](https://kb.tableau.com/articles/Issue/web-data-connectors-deprecated-in-2023-1-release), and the connectors will continue functioning until they are retired in Dec 2025.
> ๐ - The** scheduled refreshes are failing** for the customers who either **upgraded** their "Tableau Softwareโ to v2023.1 and above or **performed a fresh install** of Tableau Software.

Once the app installation is complete, navigate to the application.
**Jira cloud**: Navigate to **Tableau Connector Pro** > **My Connectors**. The* ***OData** tab will display a form for creating the first connector URL. Refer to [OData](#OData).
**Jira hosted**: When users navigate to*** *****Jira **>** Tableau Pro** >** My Connectors***** ***for the **very first time**, they are presented with a dialog box to set up the application link. Refer to the [Application link (Jira Hosted only)](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/1037303956).
Once the **application link** setup is complete, the *Approve OAuth access* dialog box appears to approve OAuth access.
- Approve OAuth access: This step is applicable only to Jira Hosted and not to Jira Cloud. Click on the link in the dialog box.
- Click **Allow**. You will be navigated to the **OData** page.

**OData** : The* ***OData **tab displays a form for creating the first connector URL. The OData tab is the default landing page of the app. For more information, refer to [My Connectors - OData](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/1042383187).
- **WDC (Legacy)** : Click **WDC (Legacy)** tab to view the Web Data Connector URL. For more information, refer to [My Connectors - WDC (Legacy)](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/1042645014).
