The Connector URLs generated by Tableau Connector Pro for Jira app can be added to **Tableau Desktop** as a data source to import the data into Tableau.

1. Go to **Jira **>** Tableau Connector Pro **>** My Connectors **>** OData***. *To copy a connector URL, click **COPY URL**.
2. Launch **Tableau Desktop**.
3. Click** OData**.
4. The *OData* dialog opens. Provide the server and authentication details and click **Sign In**. For more information, refer to [OData](https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/examples_odata.htm).
  1. In the **Server** text field, paste the URL copied in **Step #1**.
  2. From the **Authentication** drop-down, select Username and Password.
    1. **Data Center**: Enter your **Jira** username and password.
    2. **Cloud**: Enter the username and password set on the **My Connectors** > **Make Private **screen. If the username and password is not set for connectors, then select *No Authentication*.

5. The imported data appears inside Tableau.
6. Drag the tables on the screen to view the table fields.
7. Go to the worksheet, and Tableau imports the data by creating an extract.
8. You can build views of the data by dragging and dropping fields onto shelves. For more information, refer to [the Tableau Workspace](https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/environment_workspace.htm).

> ⚠️ The data imported using the OData connector in Tableau Desktop may contain one or more blank rows. This is due to a [known issue](https://issues.salesforce.com/issue/a028c00000yzSVfAAM/~) within Tableau software.
