Tableau Connector Pro for Jira* *app integrates with [Projectrak](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1210816/projectrak-project-tracking-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview). Projectrak is a project tracking solution for Jira. It** **provides you with preconfigured project fields and the ability to create new project properties. Perform dynamic project search using [PQL](https://confluence.deiser.com/projectrak/8.1.9/advanced-search-with-pql-project-query-language-110956185.html)(Project query language), define the layouts and views based on your preference to visualize and track the Jira project portfolios.

This integration further extends the capabilities of Projectrak to export and visualize the required project properties for actionable insights in Tableau.

> ℹ️ - Tableau Connector Pro for Jira - Cloud and DC/Server app (version 4.1.0 and above) offers Projectrack integration for WDC (Legacy).
> ℹ️ - Tableau Connector Pro for Jira requires Tableau Desktop software to function.

## Tableau Web Data Connector URL

1. Navigate to*** *****Jira **>** Tableau Connector Pro **>** My Connectors **>** WDC (Legacy)*** *and copy the* Tableau Web Data Connector URL. *For more information, refer to* *[My Connectors - WDC (Legacy)](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/1042645014).

## Import into Tableau Desktop

1. Navigate to **Tableau Desktop **>** Web Data Connector***.**** ***Enter the *Tableau Web Data Connector URL* to Tableau Desktop as a Data Source to import the data into Tableau. For more information, refer to [Import into Tableau - WDC (Legacy)](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ATCFJ/pages/1047822338).

2. Specify the JQL to pull the issues for this data source and click **Continue**.

3. A form is presented with Jira and Projectrak fields. The **Projectrak values** list the Projectrak fields. Select the **Projectrak values** field.

### **Cloud** - **Tableau Connector Pro for Jira**

#### API key ID and API key

To import the Projectrak data, select the Projectrak values field and enter the API key ID and API key. To generate API key ID and API key, follow [these steps](https://confluence.deiser.com/projectrakcloud/developers-110955371.html). Click **Continue**.

> ℹ️ Tableau Connector Pro for Jira Cloud:
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ - If required, you can **Change API Key** for Connectors. To change the Key, edit the connection.
> ℹ️ - Click **API key ID** and **API key*** *and* *navigate the page with steps to generate the API key.

### **Data Center/Server - Tableau Connector Pro for Jira**

To import the Projectrak data, select the Projectrak values fields and click **Continue**.

### Data imported to Tableau Desktop

The Projectrak data gets imported and appears in a table format in Tableau.

> 📝 **Known issue:** When Projectrak DC/Server app data is imported, the description tag value for the below fields shows null.
