Our team is announcing the latest release of Tableau Connector Pro for Jira, versions 5.5.7 and 6.0.6.

Jira compatibility: 

- 6.0.6 - Jira 11.0.0-11.3.8
- 5.5.7 - Jira 10.0.0-10.7.4

> 📝 This upgrade is strongly recommended for all customers on version 6.0.5 or earlier (Jira 11) and 5.5.6 or earlier (Jira 9/10), especially in environments where Power BI OAuth has been initialized.

# Security fixes

- Fixed a critical issue where the connector's OAuth setup could override Jira-wide HTTPS and TLS settings, restricting TLS support and disabling certificate validation for other apps and custom code after OAuth was used. OAuth TLS settings are now scoped to the connector's own connection only, preserving Jira's default HTTPS behavior.
- Addressed high and critical dependency vulnerabilities identified through security scanning.
- Strengthened protection against server-side request forgery on OAuth outbound requests. Only **http** and **https** URL schemes are now permitted.

# Bug fixes

The following bug is fixed in this release:

- Fixed *Invalid JQL* errors that occurred when connector filters used HTML markup in single-select custom field values, such as colored status labels.

# Enhancements

## Sprint Actual Start Date

Added **Sprint Actual Start Date** to sprint reporting. This field reports when a sprint was actually started, separate from the planned **Sprint Start Date**.
