## How to create Team

Check the following pages to get to know different ways to create Teams:

## Allocate teams

Allocating teams is required to start working with the [Objectives](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/x/wPuNk) and [Board](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/x/W-mNk) modules. Allocating teams is not required in the [Resources](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BPEdc/pages/2534507501) module, although it is recommended as the module provides built-in team-specific filters.

> ℹ️ If you plan to re-use your team, you can create global teams.

### Team inheritance 

Teams can be automatically inherited from the upper-level boxes:

1. Go to **Administration** >** Box types **>** select a box type by clicking on its name** >** Resources** >** Basic**.
2. Enable the **Auto-inherited upper-level teams** toggle switch.
