## Welcome to BigTemplate Cloud documentation

> ℹ️ BigTemplate helps teams extend Jira, BigPicture, BigPicture Enterprise, and BigGantt with flexible export and import capabilities. Use this space to learn how to create and manage templates, export Jira and BigPicture data to common business formats, and import project data from external files when you need to keep Jira aligned with the tools your stakeholders use.

With BigTemplate, you can turn Jira issues and BigPicture management data into ready-to-share files such as PDF, DOC, XLS, CSV, XML, MPP, and MPX. The app is designed for teams that need more control than standard exports provide: custom layouts, reusable templates, and support for project reporting, planning, and data exchange outside the Atlassian ecosystem.

## What you can do with BigTemplate

- Export Jira issue content to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PDF, and other supported formats.
- Create custom templates for Jira issues and management data from BigPicture, BigPicture Enterprise, and BigGantt.
- Export project plans, reports, charts, and module data from BigPicture or BigGantt for analysis, sharing, archiving, or stakeholder reporting.
- Import management data from Microsoft Project or Microsoft Excel files into Jira, BigPicture, BigPicture Enterprise, or BigGantt.
- Reuse pre-defined templates or build your own document style to match your organization’s reporting standards.
