# Description

A number of macros like the **chart** macro, produce temporary images. Prior to [release 7.1](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CACHE/pages/66584810), the recommended way to cache a macro like **chart** would be to add parameters to the **chart** macro to make sure the generated image was converted to a attachment. Similarly for other macros like the [Graphviz macros](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/GVIZ/overview). Automatic support is now available.

# Steps

With [release 7.1](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CACHE/pages/66584810), temporary images will be automatically cached!
