## Overview

There are 3 approval states in the **Comala** **Document** **Approval** app workflow

- **Review**
- **Rejected**
- **Approved**

There are two draft approval states - **Review** and **Rejected** and one **Approved** state for page or blog posts that have been reviewed and approved.

## Workflow state byline

The approval byline item on the page or blog post changes according to the current approval state of the applied approval workflow.

> ℹ️ A page or blog post with an applied approval workflow can only be in one state at any one time.

## Latest approved version

 but if the content has previously been in the **Approved** state, the most recent **Approved **version of the content can still be viewed

- a link is added next to the content byline item in the draft approval state

When in a draft state (**Review **or **Rejected ** state) if the content had been previously approved, the content byline item includes a link to the currently approved content.

Users with **View **and **Edit** or **Admin** permissions see a breadcrumb link to any content that is pending approval when viewing the approved content.
