> 📝 After a data upgrade to use **Document Activity**, the previous **Page Activity** data will continue to be stored in the previous format for the life of Comala Document Control 2.0+ and a recovery path will be available. This recovery path will NOT include any data changes that occurred after the data upgrade.

## What to do if any pre-upgrade checks or an upgrade fails?

A pre-upgrade check that includes any errors on pages in a space will display the number of pages with an error in the space and a downloadable **Support Package** file. This can be attached to a Comala [support ticket](http://appf.re/support).

> ⚠️ The Support Package files linked in the Document Activity Upgrade Console are temporary files.  If the **Support Package** is not found for a space, it may have been removed by the [Confluence Clean Temporary Directory](https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/scheduled-jobs-96567525.html) job and you will need to re-run the upgrade checks for this space.
