## Overview

When Comala Document Approval is applied to a page or blog post, the **[Content byline item](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDALS/pages/650117237)** is added to the page or blog post:

## Approval status

The name of the current state of the page is shown next to a colored status indicator circle.

In the example below, this is **Review**

Any user with** Edit** permission can approve or reject the content. If you assign a specific user using the **Add reviewer **option, only this assigned user is able to approve or reject the content.
