## Overview

When the approval workflow is added to a page or blog post, the approvals **content byline item** is added below the page/blog heading.

The name of the current [approvals workflow state](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDALS/pages/649920854) is shown next to a coloured status indicator circle.

## Byline status

Choosing the status indicator circle and state name breadcrumbs will open the approval popup.

The **content byline item** will change to show the current [approval status](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDALS/pages/649920854). There are 3 approval states in the Approval workflow:

## Last approved version breadcrumb

When the document is in a draft workflow state, either

- **Review**
- or **Rejected**

if there is also an approved (published) version of the document, the content byline item will include a link to the last version of the document in the approved workflow state.
