## Overview

Adding a Comala Document Control workflow to a page or blog post lets you ensure that a document is reviewed and signed off.

These three bundled workflows include a range of different features, such as:

- Approvals to approve and reject content
- Expiry dates to facilitate the refresh of content
- Requirements for reviewers to<u> authenticate content review decisions</u> to meet compliance needs (when using the Quality Management System workflow)

## Applying workflows in a space

In each space, the Comala Document Control workflow can be applied in one of two modes:

- [Page workflow mode](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/629573904) - applied to individual pages and blog posts one at a time
- [Space workflow mode](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/631114219) - the workflow is applied to all documents in the space

When applying a **page workflow**, page editors add a workflow to individual pages or blog posts on a page-by-page basis.

If the workflow is applied as a **space workflow**, the workflow overrides any existing page workflow on a document in the space, and editors are unable to add or remove workflows for individual pages, facilitating central content management.
