**What's New?**

We have updated the in-app links to the new documentation space at **docs.comalatech.com**

**What's New?**
New **[document approvals macro](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/631406773)**.
Add one or more [document approvals macros](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/631406773) to a document to display approval information for a selected workflow state. The macro can be configured to display the overall approval status in the state, the assignees for the review, each reviewer’s decision status, and the date of the last decision for each reviewer and the reviewer comment.
:blue_star: The [document approvals macro](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/631406773) is compatible with the Confluence **page properties** and **page properties report** macros.

**What's New?**
New **[document state](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/631177668)** page macro
Add the **document state** macro to a document to display one or more of the content current workflow state, the date the state changed, and, if present the state expiry date.
:blue_star: The macro is compatible with the Confluence **page properties** and **page properties report** macros.

- fixed an issue that caused a document with an applied workflow in a [Comala Publishing](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL) configured target space to be published to another (un-configured) space when the applied workflow on the document in the target space was transitioned to the final state

- fixed a problem preventing email notifications from being sent for an approval with assignees if one or more of the assignees were invalid (for example the user account is disabled; the user does not have view permission)
- resolved an issue when using the [Quality Management System Workflow](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/631177774) that stopped email notifications from being sent to any valid recipients on transition to the **In Approval** state if one or more of the added user values for the "**Document User Reviewers**" or "**Document Group Reviewers**" parameters were invalid

Bugfix
- pages were not expiring on the due date unless the page was viewed by a user. This release expires the content that is due since the release deployment.

This release will not affect pages with a historic expiration prior to the release date. This is to avoid unforeseen changes in the workflow history of these pages.
- fixed an error that stopped a due date on pages with a long `contentID` from expiring
### June 1st 2020
**What's New?**
To better **understand what business case** our **evaluation** customers are seeking to achieve when installing Comala Document Control the workflow picker now has the option to select a business use option from a drop-down menu before choosing a workflow to apply.
The workflow picker will then display all the available workflows including any custom workflows. The first workflow displayed in the picker will be prioritized for the chosen business case use. A user can choose the option to **Skip** the request.
This business use option will be available in our evaluation version each time a workflow is added to the content. It is aimed to help in the development of additionally available workflows and features within the Comala Document Control app.

**What's New?**
Users now have the ability to see what workflow is currently added and applied to the page.
- new **Show workflow** option in the workflow popup dialog actions (ellipsis) menu
- choosing **Show workflow** opens a dialog box displaying a visual workflow diagram for the current workflow applied to the content.
:blue_star: Users can also view the current workflow by choosing the **Show workflow** option in the page tools menu.

:warning: **Workflow history** is stored as an attachment to a page. This attachment can still be deleted by a user with **edit** or **admin** permission and this will remove the **Workflow History** for the individual page.
:info: A space admin will still have the option in the [ space settings Document Control dashboard ](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDCCL/pages/630952034)to **Clear **workflow history for all documents in the space.
