## Overview
A [space administrator](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/650314379) can use this screen to import workflows to the space from the [Workflows Exchange](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CWE).
The workflow can be imported to the [Document Management dashboard](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/649827041) or the [page workflows templates dashboard](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/649827962) in space tools.
[Confluence Admins](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/650150846) can restrict this feature to members of a specific user group – see: [Configuration - Global](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/649889951).
You also may be required to validate your credentials depending on the configuration of the Confluence server.
## Category
You can optionally filter the workflows to a specific category – either via the dropdown category menu, or by choosing a category button shown at the bottom of each workflow.
## Show/hide workflow flowcharts
This option allows you to toggle the workflow flowcharts on and off using the** Show diagram** slider.
## Importing
Choose the **Import** button next to a workflow and **Confirm** the import. This dialogue box will warn you with an [IMPORTED] lozenge if a workflow of the same name already exists in the space.
Select how to import the chosen template. You can import the template as one of the following:
- as a space workflow to the space workflows dashboard
- as a page workflow to the [Page Workflows Templates dashboard](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/649827962)
Choose **IMPORT** to add the workflow.
If added as a space workflow
- the workflow can be used in space mode
- it can be edited and [adapted to your needs](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/648611901), just like any other workflow
- the workflow template can be saved as a template to the global workflows dashboard in workflow builder (if user has global admin permission)
If added as a page workflow template
- the workflow can be used in [page mode](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/649628831)
- the workflow template can be [saved as a template](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/650348103) to the space workflows dashboard for use in [space mode](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/649531846)
- it can be edited and [adapted to your needs](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/648611901), just like any other workflow
You can also choose the **Refresh** button at the bottom of the **Import workflows** screen to update the list with the currently available workflows from the [Workflows Exchange](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CWE).
