## Overview

Workflow builder can be used to manage the process for assigning reviewers for each [approval added to a state](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/650152120).

## Editing reviewer assignment

> If you choose **Set all reviewers who must approve**, you must add the users who must undertake the approval. These reviewers are preassigned by the workflow on a transition into the state containing the approval.

> All approvals can be configured to require a reviewer to add **credentials** to authenticate their identity to make the approval active in the workflow state dialog box. You can also **Enable Roles** to let the assigner add a descriptive role when assigning a reviewer. ## Saving changes to an approval

To amend changes to a state approval, choose **Apply**.

To avoid losing a state update to the workflow, you must then add the changes to the workflow by choosing **Save** in the navigation panel.
