This release of Chat for Jira Service Management (version 2.12.1) includes a new feature, an improvement, and bug fixes.

## New features

The following new features are introduced in this release:

### Image viewer for shared screenshots

Customers can now click screenshots shared in a conversation to open them in a full-screen image viewer, in addition to downloading the image. Previously, attached images could only be downloaded.

## Improvements

The following improvements are included in this release:

### Updated password reset flow

Due to Atlassian firewall updates, password reset is no longer handled within the app widget. Previously, clicking **Forgot Password?** on the Login page opened a dedicated page inside the widget where users could enter their email and receive a reset link. Now, clicking **Forgot Password?** redirects users to the Atlassian-managed account recovery page at `id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword` to request a recovery link.

## Bug fixes

The following bugs are fixed in this release:

- Fixed edge cases where customers were able to add new messages to a Resolved work item even when the **Disable adding messages to work items with Resolved status** option was enabled.
