### **1: Allow notifications in your browser**

If you're seeing the crossed bell icon at the end of the URL, click it and select **Allow for this site**.

If not: click on the lock icon, locate the Notifications and select **Allow** in the dropdown. Refresh the page.

| **If pop-up does not appear **
Go to **Settings in Edge** > **Cookies & Site Permissions** > **Notifications**.
1. Enable the **Ask before sending** option and refresh this page.
2. Add the URL [chat-api.spartez-software.com](http://chat-api.spartez-software.com) to the "Allowed to send notifications" section manually.
⚠️* Ensure the URL *[*chat-api.spartez-software.com*](http://chat-api.spartez-software.com)* is NOT specified under the "Not allowed to send notifications" section. * |

### **2: Turn on Notifications in Your Operation System **

### **3: Use notifications in Chat for JSM **

Check desired notification options on **Chat for JSM** > **[Notifications](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHAT/pages/93357462)**.

If everything goes well, you'll get notifications like the one below:

If you have done all previous steps, but notifications are still not showing up, you may check the following workaround:

1. Enter `edge://flags/#enable-system-notifications` in the URL
2. **Disable** a flag for system notifications.
