### <span style="color: #000000">**To delete a configuration snapshot:**</span>

1. Log in as a user with the **Jira System Administrators **[global permission](https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-global-permissions/).
2. Choose the **cog icon **> Macro (inline-media-image)

** **at the top right of the screen, then choose **Configuration Manager**:
  
3. Select** Snapshots **to open the **Configuration Snapshots** page and **choose a** **snapshot.**
4. Click on the icon in the **Actions** column on the Configuration Snapshots page.
  
5. Choose the **Delete **option in the **Actions** box.
  
6. Confirm the snapshot deletion.

The chosen snapshot will be deleted.
