## How to manage my migrations

The *Manage Migrations* page lists essential information for each migration. This page allows you to view the status and details of your past and ongoing migrations at a glance. In addition to that, you can return to a previously incomplete migration to review details or complete it. For failed and successful deployments, you can go back to their result page to review the outcome in more detail.

### Migration states

Each migration you create can be in one of the following states:

- [CREated] The migration is created. You can use the **View** action to resume and complete the migration.
- [Analysis] The migration is being analyzed. You can use the **View** action to check the analysis progress and details.
- [failed] The migration failed. You can open a [support request](https://appfire.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals) and send us a [support zip](#Download-a-support-zip), which helps us identify the problem.
- [Completed] The migration is completed. Use the **View** action to see the summary of the migrated projects, issues, and configuration changes.

### Review or return to a migration

1. Log in as a user with the **Jira System Administrators **[global permission](https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-global-permissions/).
2. Navigate to the top right of the screen and choose **Jira Settings **> **Configuration Manager.**
3. In the *Manage migrations* section*** ***of the *Move to Jira Cloud*** **page, review the list of migrations.
4. Choose a migration in any state and click **View** in the *Actions *section.
5. For the [CREATED], [ANALYSIS], and [Running] states, you resume the migration from where you left off.
For [COMPLETED] migrations, you can see and review the migration result, as shown in the screenshot below.
For [FAILED] migrations, you see an error page that suggests opening a support ticket with the migration ID and support zip file.

### **Download a support zip**

You can download and send us a support zip to help us investigate the cause of a failed migration.

1. Log in as a user with the **Jira System Administrators **[global permission](https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/manage-global-permissions/).
2. Navigate to the top right of the screen and choose **Jira Settings** > **Configuration Manager**.
3. From the left-side menu, select **Move to Jira Cloud** and review the list of migrations. Choose a failed migration and click **Support zip** in the *Actions* section. Contact us and attach the downloaded support zip file to our [Support Portal](https://appfire.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals).

### View migrations when connectivity is lost

When a connection to the Jira Cloud site can’t be established for some reason, you won’t be able to return to or open an existing migration.

You need to [connect ](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CMT/pages/197856330)or reconnect to the Jira site with valid credentials when:

- you don’t have a [cloud connection](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CMT/pages/197856330) to the Jira site in Cloud Migration Tool’s UI,
- your cloud credentials become obsolete, or
- the cloud connection used for an existing migration isn’t working for some reason.

If you don’t have a connection to the Jira Cloud site in the migration, use the **Connect** action in the error message in the *Actions*** **column** **of the** ***Manage migrations*** **section (see the screenshot below). This way, you can create a connection to the Jira site with your credentials and review the migration.
