## Аpps you must install for migrations from Jira Server/Data Center to Jira Cloud

The Cloud Migration Tool (free) app supports migrating projects and issues from Jira Server/Data Center to Jira Cloud. To accomplish this scenario, you need to pair the Cloud Migration Tool app with our **Configuration Manager for Jira Cloud (licensed) **app.

First, you need to install *Cloud Migration Tool* on your Jira Server/Data Center instance and** ***Configuration Manager for Jira Cloud* on your Jira Cloud site.

Then, you can create a [connection ](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CMT/pages/197856330)between them and start a migration process in the Cloud Migration Tool’s UI, as described in our [articles](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CMT/pages/198020736). For more information, check out the[ use case](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CMT/pages/197922405) documentation.

## Supported Jira Cloud plans

Migrations to Jira Cloud on the Free plan are** not supported**. [Learn more about the Jira Cloud plans.](https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/explore-jira-cloud-plans/)
