> 📝 If you are using the [Comala Document Management Data Center app](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML) and creating metadata with the app’s [set-metadata macro](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CDML/pages/650251172), these metadata values are only indexed by Confluence and appear in the Confluence search if the [Comala Metadata app](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CMD) is installed.
