--- title: "Get started - Publishing pages" canonical: "https://support.appfire.com/space/CPCL/1329430670/Get%20started%20-%20Publishing%20pages" format: markdown --- > Macro (aura-html) ## Publishing your pages After a space administrator configures a space publishing space in the space [app publishing settings](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/646252290), you can publish and sync pages from the source space to the target space using [single-page publishing](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCD/pages/edit-v2/614696406#Single-page-publishing) and [space publishing](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCD/pages/edit-v2/614696406#Space-publishing). > ℹ️ When publishing a space for the first time, it is recommended that you publish all your pages using the **[setup wizard](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/1328545967)**. In it, you can view the publishing state of your pages and publish and sync them directly from the report. ## Publishing report The [publishing report](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/1072562207) allows editors and space administrators in a source space to view the publishing state (the synchronization state) of all the pages in the source space and the pages in the target space. ![cpc_publishingreport_titlefilter_publishingstatefilter_nofinalworkflowstatefilter_4pages_outofsync_new.png](media://db2bfbdc-62f0-48a3-a3e8-25535949c496) You can filter the pages displayed in the report by using one or more of the following report filters: - page** Title** - **Publishing state** In the source space, you can also apply the **Final workflow state **filter** **(if a Comala workflow is applied to any page in the space). A space administrator can also publish all the pages displayed in the filtered report using the **Publish pages** button. After publishing, a space publishing report is generated and displayed. Changing the report filter can affect the number of pages published. > 📝 Page-level restrictions on a page can affect the pages displayed in the report. ## What is published or copied? #### Home page and blog posts Comala Publishing Cloud *[does not support publishing](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/646088074)* a space**’s** **home page** or **blog posts**. It copies the updated page as a new page in the target space, and the Confluence page version in the target space is v1. #### Publishing state Publishing updates the Comala Publishing state on both spaces. However, it is not visible for users with view-only permission on the page. Exceptions to this are: - when the URL used is a short URL - the link is to a heading or anchor on a different page in the source space [https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/1286602822](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/1286602822) #### Page hierarchy Publishing and syncing a page [maintains the page hierarchy](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/646775362) where possible. However, the order of the content is not necessarily maintained in some circumstances. Pages whose parent is not present in the target space are sometimes published to the root of the target space, and a warning message is displayed.
