# Compatibility update

### Disable Publish Button for Incompatible Confluence Modes

To prevent **accidental** publishing in incompatible modes, the **Publish** button is now disabled when using Confluence’s new **Live Docs** feature or the new UI editor where the byline is displayed. This ensures a smoother editing experience and avoids issues with publishing in these scenarios.
