This page outlines the updates included in Comala Publishing Cloud version 2.4.0.

---

## Platform update

This release moves core publishing processing in Comala Publishing Cloud to the Forge platform (Forge version 6.0.0).

- **No visible changes**: Publishing, reindexing, jobs, diagnosis, and space sync all continue to work the same as they do today. There's nothing new to set up or learn.
- **Plan your upgrade**: Older versions of the app depend on publishing infrastructure that's being retired later this year. Sites that haven't upgraded by then could lose page and space publishing and related functionality, even though the app will still appear installed. Plan to update to version 2.4.0 (Forge version 6.0.0) or later before that infrastructure is retired. No action is needed right now beyond keeping the app up to date as you normally would.

## Maintenance

This release also includes routine dependency and security updates.
