## Content properties

Content properties are copied to the target space page by default when a page is published. Content properties include

- Confluence page properties
- 3rd party app properties

A space administrator can disable the copying of content properties in the [source space publishing dashboard](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/646644089) if you don’t want to override content properties on the target space page when publishing.

> 📝 You may want to disable this option if you have a 3rd party app in the target space, for example, if you have a Comala workflow applied in the target space.
