## Overview

A target space for publishing is configured in the [app space settings](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPCL/pages/646219345) in the source (draft) space.

Once the target space is set, the target space app settings displays

- confirmation that the current space is a **Published Space **(the **target** space)
- the name of the linked **Source Space** (the **draft** space) published and synced to this published space (the **target** space)
- a link to **Edit configuration on the Source Space**

> ℹ️ Whilst a space is set as a target space, it cannot be configured as a source space for publishing.

Once a space has been set as a target space for publishing, message notifications are displayed when trying to edit a page or create a new page in the space.
