This guide explains how to integrate **Notifier by Appfire** with **Canned Responses Pro** to enable automated Slack notifications for your templates. With this integration, you can configure notifications to be sent directly to Slack channels or individual users, streamlining communication and ensuring updates are shared automatically.

## Use cases

The Notifier by Appfire integration with Canned Responses Pro is ideal for various scenarios. Some examples are:

- Support teams can automatically notify development channels when escalating high-priority tickets.
- Automatically inform stakeholders about ticket progress, such as when an work item moves to a specific status or milestone.
- Share critical customer interactions with relevant team members for better collaboration and context.
- Notify managers or specific users when an action requires their approval or input.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you meet the following requirements:

- If you have Slack admin permissions, you can install the Slack app `Notifier by Appfire` directly from Canned Responses. You can refer to the [documentation](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NF) for guidance.
- If you don’t have enough permissions, you will need to send an installation request to your Slack admin using the form and proceed when it’s done.

2. Choose one of the following options:
  - Create a new template by clicking **+ Create Template**.
