# [Jira Cloud] Enhancements

### **Forge migration updates**

Connector for Salesforce & Jira has been developed and deployed on Atlassian Forge, Atlassian’s most advanced Cloud development platform. This release brings enhancements to meet Forge’s technical and security standards.

Moving to Forge ensures that your data is protected within Atlassian’s trusted infrastructure, leveraging its built-in security, compliance, and scalability capabilities. By embracing Forge, Appfire continues to deliver on its promise to offer secure, enterprise-grade apps that evolve with Atlassian’s platform.

> ⚠️ Please update to the latest version by the end of 2026 to keep your app running. If you miss the deadline, the app stops working and data syncing breaks.

### Upgrade to Forge manually

You can also upgrade to Forge manually. To upgrade the app to the Forge version, you need Jira administrative privileges.

1. Navigate to **Apps** > **Manage apps**.
2. Under *Connected apps, *the Connector for Salesforce & Jira app displays an **Update** label. Click **View app details**.
3. To upgrade the app, click **Accept & update**.
4. The *Confirm app update* dialog opens. Click **Update**.

# [Jira Cloud]** Bug fixes**

** Jira work item search in Salesforce**

When searching for a Jira work item by its exact key in the Salesforce *Associate or Create Jira Issue* dialog, the correct work item now always appears in the results. Previously, it could be pushed out of view by newer work items that only mentioned the same key in their title or description.
