This page outlines the updates included in the latest release of Create on Transition for Jira.

## New features

The following feature is included in this release:

- **Regex filtering for Create multiple issues (substitution)**: You can now filter which list entries are used to create issues, so **Create multiple issues** creates one issue per matching entry instead of one issue per every value in the list.
  The workflow UI is unchanged for this release: there's still only the **Create multiple issues** field on the *Conditions & Configurations* tab. There's no separate pattern or regex column.
  To filter the list, enter this substitution function directly in **Create multiple issues**:
  **Parameters**

| `list` | Yes | - | Comma-separated source list after substitution (for example, components). Wrap in single quotes if the value may contain commas: `'%original_components%'` |
| `regex` | Yes | - | Pattern tested against each entry (Java regular expression unless `literal` is true). |
| `exact` | No | `false` | false: match if the pattern is found anywhere in the entry. true: the entire entry must match. |
| `literal` | No | `false` | false: treat the pattern as a Java regex. true: treat the pattern as plain text, not regex syntax. |
| `negative` | No | `false` | false: include matching entries. true: exclude matching entries. |

> ℹ️ `%function_filterList('%original_components%', zValidation)%` creates one issue for each component whose name contains "zValidation" (by default, the function matches if the pattern is found anywhere in the entry).

In **Summary** and other mapped fields, use `@entry@` to reference the current list entry, the same as other multi-issue configurations. For details, see [Create multiple issues](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CSOT/pages/68748284).

## Bug fixes

The following bug is fixed in this release:

- **Descriptions on Jira Cloud**: Fixed an issue where issue descriptions using Atlassian Document Format (ADF) content, such as tables, rendered as raw JSON text instead of the formatted content.
