Welcome to Canned Responses Pro Templates for Jira! We’re happy to see you here. 

Canned Responses (CR) allows you to save time by creating dynamic templates for issues and repetitive tickets. Templates can consist of formatted text or macros that allow you to get value from custom fields on the fly. This makes templates more flexible and useful for different teams and projects. 

This page contains step-by-step instructions on how to install Canned Responses Pro Templates for Jira.

## Before you begin

- You must be a **[Jira administrator](https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-global-permissions-776636359.html)** to carry out the instructions on this page.

## How to install Canned Responses Pro Templates for Jira

Installing Canned Responses is like installing any other Jira app (see [Installing Marketplace apps](https://confluence.atlassian.com/upm/installing-add-ons-273875715.html) in the Jira documentation).

1. Log in to your Jira instance as a Jira Administrator.
2. Select the **Jira** **Settings **cog in the top right of your Jira instance and click **Manage apps**. The *Find new apps* page displays.
3. Type `Canned Responses Pro Templates for Jira` in the search field and press **Enter**.
4. Follow the prompts to **Install**, **Buy now**, or start a **Free trial**.

> ⚠️ **Canned Responses needs cookies! **Make sure to allow all cookies in your browser settings. This is needed for the Canned Responses section to be displayed in your Jira.
