## Prerequisites

You must be:

- An administrator of the Confluence Cloud instance
- Either a technical contact or a billing contact of the Confluence Cloud instance. To verify, log in to [MyAtlassian](https://my.atlassian.com/?__hstc=72543820.478060a5fed2e79d90b59818d9cb19af.1442576901450.1537763892331.1537767376646.2083&__hssc=72543820.14.1537767376646&__hsfp=4166081072) and ensure the Confluence Cloud instance appears on the *Licenses *page.

## Install the app

1. Click the **Confluence administration **(⚙️) icon in the top-right corner.
2. In the left navigation, select **Settings **> **Atlassian marketplace** >** Find new apps**.
3. Use the search box to find *Composition Tabs for Confluence*.
4. Click the app card and click **Try it free**.
5. In the *Add to Confluence* box, review the terms of use and the privacy policy, and click **Start free trial**.  
The app installs with a 30-day free trial license. After that period, you can purchase a monthly or annual subscription.
6. Optionally, in the *Composition Tabs for Confluence installed successfully* confirmation box, click **Get started **and try out the app.
