# Prerequisites
- Perform [https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CTFCSM/pages/1561201208](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CTFCSM/pages/1561201208).
- Understand that there are Composition macros that cannot be migrated yet.
- Verify that all the Deck of Cards and Card macros are converted into Tab Group and Tab macros.
- Schedule a maintenance window for Confluence Data Center.
- Prepare a [Confluence Cloud](https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/test-your-server-to-cloud-migration/) instance.
- If you haven’t already, sign up for a cloud site. Decide if you want to perform your test to a trial site or to your production site.
- If you decide to use a trial site, you can:
- Activate your [free cloud migration trial](https://www.atlassian.com/migration/cloud/free-license).
- Set up a standard [7 day trial](https://www.atlassian.com/try) (this will revert to a Free plan after the trial).
- If you plan to test your migration to a new production site, you can choose between a [Free](https://www.atlassian.com/software/free), Standard, or [Premium](https://www.atlassian.com/software/premium) plan.
- Install [Composition Tabs for Confluence Cloud](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/245/composition-tabs-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview) on your Confluence Cloud instance. You can use the 30-day trial of the app.

Follow the instructions that come with the migration tool to bring all your Confluence data to the Cloud.
