## View task details

To view the dialog, click the <u>[taskbar](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/2212497400)</u>. You can expand the view by clicking on the **Expand** icon in the upper-right corner of the dialog. Once expanded, you will see the full view.

The video below presents the task details window in the Gantt and Resources modules. 

[shortcut] You can also select a task and press **E** to edit its details, or **J** to open a Jira window.

> ℹ️ You can also open the task details dialog for tasks without dates.

## Information the task details dialog provides

The task details dialog provides general information about a task and the status of the task actions. Some of the task details can be [edited inline](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/2211578149).

## See task changes

Click the **See changes** button on the task details dialog to open the **Infobar** > **[Change history](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/2211873211)** tab. 

If the task detail dialog was expanded using the **Expand** option, you need to click it again to collapse it. Otherwise, the task details dialog will cover the Infobar.
