You can export your resources to:

- Image (PDF)
- MS Excel Basic Template (XLSX)

> ℹ️ PDF image export requires <span style="color: #333333">NodeJS</span> installation. If you do not see the** PDF image **export option, see the [Installation](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/298418755/Installation#NodeInstallation) page for more information.

The export respects:

- **Aggregation settings** - <span style="color: #172b4d">the columns contain date ranges. For example, when aggregation is set to Week, the column will have a date range of a week.</span>

- <span style="color: #172b4d">**Original estimate and Remaining estimate effort modes - **</span><span style="color: #172b4d">you can export data when the Original estimate or Remaining estimate effort mode is applied. </span>

## <span style="color: #172b4d">PDF export</span>

<span style="color: #172b4d">The exported PDF file will look similar to the one presented below.</span>

> ⚠️ It is **NOT** recommended to exceed 600 lines while exporting data to a PDF file. It leads to problems with generating the correct PDF and opening the file.

## XLSX export

<span style="color: #172b4d">The exported XLSX file has separate tabs for:</span>

- <span style="color: #172b4d">**Task workload**</span><span style="color: #172b4d"> that presents the workload distribution for a particular task. </span>  
<span style="color: #172b4d">You can check the </span><span style="color: #172b4d">**Task Key, Summary, and Assignee**</span><span style="color: #172b4d"> fields for each issue. You can also track the </span><span style="color: #172b4d">**Task workload summary **</span><span style="color: #172b4d">for daily/weekly/monthly workloads.</span>

- <span style="color: #172b4d">**Workload**</span><span style="color: #172b4d"> presents the workload for your resources (or skills) daily/weekly/monthly. </span>

- <span style="color: #172b4d">**Remaining capacity **</span><span style="color: #172b4d">for resources (or skills) in a given day/week/month.</span>

- <span style="color: #172b4d">**Capacity**</span><span style="color: #172b4d"> for resources (or skills) in a given day/week/month.</span>

- **Color meaning**

## Limitations

In the [new view of the Resources module](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/694321755), exporting resources to an MS Excel Basic Template (XLSX) file is **unavailable** when data is [grouped](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/1227063544) or the **Projects** or **Skills** swimlane is selected.
