## About organizing tasks

Organize your tasks in ascending or descending order. Tasks are sorted on each level of the hierarchy separately.

## Sorting options

If a field you want to sort by is missing, add it as a column. You can use both [built-in](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/298027369) and integration-specific fields.

**Sorting in the table**

Sorting in the table (by clicking a column header) is available after [grouping tasks](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/875431031).

### What can be sorted?

All tasks from integrations (Jira, Trello) can be sorted. [Basic tasks](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/297702042) cannot be sorted.

### Who is affected?

The **Organize tasks** command affects all the users, as it has a global impact on the sorting settings.

## Restore Jira tasks order

To see the same order of tasks as in Jira:

1. Expand the **Data** drop-down menu.
2. Click **Restore Jira task order**. This operation will affect the tasks for all users.
3. To confirm, click **Restore anyway**.

When you restore the tasks order, any previously applied tasks order will be deactivated.

> ℹ️ It's not possible to apply the BigPicture task order to Jira.
