Here’s the information you can see for each signature:

- **Signed By**: All users who have signed the issue.
- **Date/Time**: Precise timestamp of each signature.
- **Meaning**: Purpose or context provided for each signature.
- **Issue status**: Workflow status when the signature was applied.

A **Print** link appears in the top-right corner of the E-Signatures section for generating compliance certificates.

This integrated display provides immediate visibility into signature status and chronological history, making it easy to verify approvals, track the signature timeline during issue reviews, and instantly generate formal signature certificates you can use for compliance reporting and audit documentation.

## How to generate and print a certificate

These certificates provide formal documentation that meets 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements and can be used for regulatory submissions, audit trails, and legal documentation. To generate a formal certificate documenting all signatures on an issue:

1. Navigate to the signed issue.
2. Locate the *E-Signatures* panel.
3. Click the **Print** link in the top-right corner.
The certificate is instantly generated in PDF format and downloaded.
4. Open your downloads folder, locate the certificate, and print it.

As illustrated in the example screenshot below, the certificate contents include the following information:

- Issue key and summary
- Complete issue description
- Assignee details
- Comprehensive signature history with:
  - All signatory names and timestamps
  - Signature meanings and contexts
  - Workflow status at time of signing
