Every account has a username, which is a unique account identifier that's separate from your email address. You can view your username on your [Account settings page (opens in new tab)](https://app.pluralsight.com/id/accountsettings).

To change your username:

1. Click your avatar in top right menu menu, then click **Account settings**.
2. In the **Username** field, type your new username.
3. Click **Update**.

> ✅ Your username also appears in your profile URL, which can be viewed publicly if your profile is set to public.
