Copilot is one of the AI tools reports designed for organization leaders who want to measure ROI and resource allocation with regard to this specific tool.
The report utilizes the following metrics:
- Adoption data from Copilot’s API
- Commits per day
- Impact
- Efficiency
- Time to merge
- PR iteration time
## Permissions
To view the Copilot report, ensure the users are assigned a role that includes this report. We recommend confirming on the *Role management* page in Flow **Settings** that this report has been successfully added to any roles you want to grant access to.

The top of the report displays the core metrics related to Copilot usage.

## Copilot Adoption Score
The Adoption Score quantifies the overall success of Copilot integration across your organization. It is a weighted metric that prioritizes two primary indicators—Seat Utilization and User Engagement—while also factoring in Code Acceptance Rates and Feature Adoption.
A higher score reflects a more successful rollout. For easy interpretation, the score is color-coded based on its position within the 0–100 range, categorized as **Excellent**, **Good**, **Fair**, or **Poor**.
## Analytics Dashboard
This section features several interactive charts visualizing Copilot usage trends and activity patterns. It consists of two tabs: **Overview** and **Activity Trends**.
### Overview
The Overview tab displays **Weekly Usage Performance Trends** with two interactive dashboards: **Usage Metrics Overview** and **Quality & Chat Engagement**.
#### Usage Metrics Overview
This dashboard evaluates the active adoption of Copilot across your engineering teams and measures whether the tool is delivering the tangible value and reliability they expect.
The dashboard visualizes three data points related to Copilot-generated code:
- Suggestions
- Acceptances
- Chat active users
Use the filter dropdown to view all three or only one metric at a time. You can also filter out weekends to avoid the sharp dips in your data.
To inspect details for a specific date, mouse over the chart line for the respective metric.
#### Quality & Chat Engagement
This dashboard assesses whether AI has become a trusted, daily part of your engineers' workflow for both writing and reasoning about code.
The dashboard visualizes two metrics:
- Acceptance rate
- Chat prompts
Use the filter dropdown to view both or only one metric at a time. You can also filter out weekends to avoid the sharp dips in your data.
To inspect details for a specific date, mouse over the chart line for the respective metric.
### Activity Trends
The Activity Trends tab displays **one** interactive dashboard: **Monthly Activity**.
#### Monthly Activity
This dashboard provides interactive visualizations of usage trends and activity patterns to help you monitor how engagement fluctuates over time.
The dashboard visualizes three metrics:
- Acceptance Rate
- Total Suggestions
- Total Acceptances
To inspect details for a specific date, mouse over the bar.
## Team Members
In this section, you can see who uses Copilot, their plan, and last activity. Scroll to view the full list. Or type in the name of the individual user.
You can also sort the columns in the ascending and descending order.
## Perfromance Insights
This dashboard provides an overview of the development metrics and trends.
It displays the following metrics:
- Daily average suggestions
- Weekly growth rate
- Peak day activity
## Flow Metrics
On this dashboard, you can find a set of non-Copilot commit and PR metrics to give you a bigger picture of a relationship between using Copilot and the overall productivity and performance.
It displays:
- Commits per day
- Impact
- Tme to merge
- PR iteration time
