# New features

### New integration design for Azure DevOps

We’ve updated the integration process for [Azure DevOps](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FD/pages/1801912418) and [Azure DevOps Server](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FD/pages/1802502229).

This release is the next step toward making the integration process coherent and unified across all platforms. By standardizing the foundation of these integrations, we are paving the way for a single, consistent, and reliable setup experience, no matter which platform you're connecting to Flow.

> ℹ️ Existing connections will continue to work as long as OAuth exists for ADO, but customers will no longer be able to edit their OAuth connections. Should you need to update your existing integration or create a new one, you will then need to use a valid authentication method.

# Improvements

### Reports performance

We have recently made significant performance improvements to several of our reports, including Team health insights, Metrics overview, Review collaboration,  and Check-in. You will notice your reports and data load more quickly, particularly when you are looking at metrics over long date ranges or selecting large teams.

### Settings UI

#### Changes in UI and navigation

The UI and navigation updates are designed to make the *Settings* experience more intuitive, less overwhelming, and easier to support without altering any underlying functionality or behavior.

The primary change is the introduction of a **User settings** page under **User management**, which now centralizes:

- SSO
- Group programming
- User Merge.

Within the **Configurations** section, we have reduced clutter by moving:

- Commit-related outlier settings to **General**. We also tucked advanced options behind a dedicated **Advanced outlier settings** toggle.
- **Regex** to its own tab for better visibility.

Finally, to further streamline the interface, the non-functional **Report preferences** tab has been removed.

#### GMC renamed to an Agent

We are renaming the **Git metadata collector** (**GMC**) to **Agent**. This change reflects the significant functionality we have added in recent years—which now goes far beyond simply ingesting Git data—to resolve any naming confusion. As we expand this feature to more vendors, we are standardizing the term Agent for greater clarity across the platform. Note that the Agent remains an optional add-on to your Flow plan.

- The **Hybrid connection**—formerly known as the GMC—is currently available for GitHub Cloud, GitHub Enterprise Server, GitLab (Cloud and self-hosted), Azure DevOps (Services and Server), and Bitbucket (Cloud and Server). In this configuration, the Agent pushes commit-related metadata from your Git servers while Flow independently gathers project lists, PRs, and ticket data through standard API methods.
- The **Full Agent connection** is currently available for GitHub Cloud, GitHub Enterprise Server, and GitLab (Cloud and self-hosted). This setup pushes all data—including commit metadata, project lists, PRs, and tickets—directly to Flow, eliminating the need for Flow to gather information through the API.

#### Tags

[rolling-out]

We’ve added **Tags** on the selected [Flow settings](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FD/pages/1802010629) pages to help you instantly see the investment required for any configuration.

These visual cues help you identify which setups are quick wins and which require more focused attention, ensuring you have the right expectations before you begin. By labeling your settings with specific indicators for time, effort, and difficulty level, you can better prioritize your tasks and manage your workload.
