This guide will show you how to connect your Google Calendar to the Issue Events: Google Calendar Integration within your Jira projects.

## Prerequisites

- Having the Issue Events: Google Calendar Integration installed on your project.
- A Google account.

## Steps

1. Locate an issue within one of your Jira projects.
2. Open the details view for that issue on the right side of the screen.
3. Click **Issue Events**.
4. Click the **Sign in with Google** button within the Issue Events integration to start the app. A Google sign-in window appears.
5. Select the Google account you want to connect and grant the app permissions to:
  - View and edit events on all your calendars.
  - See and download any calendar you can access using your Google Calendar.
6. Click **Continue**.

Once you've granted permissions, you will see a success message and the screen to create a calendar event for the issue.
