# Enhancements

### **Easier app configuration**

Administrators can now easily manage app global settings under **Confluence administration** > **Apps** > **HTML macro configuration**.

### **More reliable HTML and scripts**

Content now runs in an iframe, so third‑party libraries (such as Mermaid, Plotly, MathJax, Highlight.js, etc.) function as they do on a standard web page.

### **Enhanced support for external libraries and fonts**

Updated permissions improve compatibility with libraries that use dynamic evaluation and allow the use of external fonts.
