## Create a custom field of type Issue Matrix

Issue Matrix custom fields are created in the same way as any other [custom field](https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Adding+a+Custom+Field): 

1. Navigate to the **Admin** section of the user interface.
2. Go to the **Issues** sub-menu**.**
3. Choose the **Custom Fields** page.
4. Click on the **+ Add Custom Field** button, which will open a pop-up window.
5. In the window, select the **All** fields section on the left and browse or search for **Issue Matrix.**
6. Click the **Next** button.
7. Fill in a name and description.
8. Select the screens on which the field is to be shown.

> ℹ️ The name of the field will be used as a title of the panel in the Issue View screen. More information about the panel can be found in the [Concept](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ILV/pages/198117420) page.
